Thanksgiving Fun

The children enjoyed spending time with Mrs. Wells' Kindergarten class during the feast.  Everyone was in costume and tried several delicious snacks such as popcorn, cornbread, deer sausage, carrots, apples, oranges, grapes, raisins, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin bars.  We also enjoyed apple cider.  The room was decorated with Thanksgiving items and each child had their own placemat with their name on it.  Thanks to all of the parents for their cooperation in helping with supplies for this great event!

Happy Thanksgiving

We learned a lot about the Pilgrims and Indians.  We helped each other make our costumes.  We also talked about the things we are thankful for.

Thanksgiving Feast

We enjoyed great food at our Thanksgiving Feast.  Mr. Jungers and Mr. Dicks were our special guests at this event.

Mammal Tracks

Lisa M. brought mammal track stamps for us to print our own copies to take home.  This was so much fun!

"Mammals" lesson from BV Naturalist

Our BV Naturalist, Lisa M. made another visit to our classroom.  She brought several mammal furs for us to touch and see up close.
