Show & Tell was very exciting today as we got to hold a real guinea pig.

Newell-Fonda Drumline

Mrs. Hecht and the N-F Drumline invited us to their performance. They decorated their drums with special neon paint & performed in the dark. It was awesome! :)

Mr. Benge Visits Our Classroom

Mr. Benge was our special guest while we discussed Veteran's Day. He taught us about war through a reenactment. We learned a lot!

Junior Achievement

Dana Davis is our Junior Achievement volunteer. She will visit our classroom to share five different lessons. We have discussed being part of a community and learning about money. This program is sponsored by the Iowa Lakes Corridor.

Fire Safety Goodie Bags

The firefighters gave us each a bag full of fun activities that go along with fire safety.

We also got to ride inside the Newell Rescue Unit.

Picking Out Pumpkins

Each student picked out a small pumpkin to take home. We also got a big pumpkin for our classroom. They also gave each student a cookie, bookmark, coloring book, sticker, & pencil.

We were able to pet a dog, goat, calf, & pony.

We went on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch.
