Spiders

B.V. Naturalist, Katie V., visited our classroom to teach us about spiders.  The kids loved her spider puppet!

Homecoming Parade

We were so excited to be in the Homecoming Parade.  We worked hard on our lion masks.  Thanks to the Homecoming Committee for a great party!

Firefighters

The Fonda firefighters visited our classroom to teach us about fire safety.  We also took a ride in the Newell Fire & Rescue Unit.

Conservation Station

We learned about conservation and soil from the Conservation Station speakers.

It's Homecoming Week!  It's time to dress up to show your school spirit!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

We had a great afternoon at the Maple Valley 4H Pumpkin Patch near Alta.  Each student picked out a small pumpkin to take home & we picked out a BIG pumpkin to keep in our classroom.  The 4H group sent us home with cookies, bookmarks, coloring books, and crayons!
